| This project begins in Alcalá del Júcar where I went in April 2011. I was trying to learn more about my cultural roots and it drove me to Troglodytes since the village was full of Historical coves. It reminded me Ibrahimpasha, Kapadokya.The life of inhabitants was very similar despite belonging to different religions, Countries…In contrast, the narrow difference between these small villages and a big city, like Barcelona, was abysmal. So I chose to work in that way using the Art as simile of the disintegration. The series "Rosa in Ibrahimpasha" is a videoclip, it was made with several slides. The first slide comes from an oil painting which is processed with digital programs until it is converted in an aluminum foil sculpture and an installation later. | |||||||||||
